Reflection and thanks for the life of Queen Elizabeth II
Students have been reflecting and giving thanks for the life of Queen Elizabeth ll with prayers and candle lighting in our School chapel, The Bishop's Building. Many have been talking with Mrs Ratnayake, our School Chaplain, about their family memories and connections to Her Majesty through links such as Scouts and The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. Some have already visited Windsor or Buckingham Palace to pay their respects. Others have been discussing issues of faith which have been prompted by the late Queen's own Christian faith and contemplating this important axis in history, of which we are a part.
