Year 11 Prom 2025

Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Our Prom this week was wonderful. From the moment the students arrived, to the moment they left, we had the very best of our Year on show.

They did not get a Year 6 party. For a lot of them, this was their first, and last whole year party. Dresses, suits, ties, shoes (crocs…), tiaras and shades, they looked cool in the highest temperature I can remember for School Prom. They mingled and they danced. They chatted and they laughed. They took some of the most dramatic and heartfelt photos of each other and with teachers too. It was beautiful.

Thanks to you. Thanks for your support this week. Thanks for your support before the exams. Thanks for your support at the start of every day of every term of every year. Thessalonians 5:11 indeed…

It has been a privilege to be the Head of Year to this group of young people and to watch them mature into interesting and interested people. It has been my pleasure to work together with you in support of your child. I cannot begin to express my gratitude and respect for what the Year 11 tutors, teachers and support staff have given; of their time, their energy, and their compassion. The Class of 2025 will carry on doing great things because they are great. Year 11 will always have that Prom.
