British Science Week Fair

Science

Our British Science Week Science Fair was a fantastic celebration of curiosity, creativity and scientific thinking. It was truly inspiring to see so many students take the initiative to carry out their own investigations at home and then confidently present their findings to an audience. Students explored a wide range of topics and demonstrated excellent enthusiasm, resilience and communication skills when explaining their methods, results and conclusions.

A huge congratulations to all the students who took part. Your hard work, curiosity and willingness to challenge yourselves made the event a wonderful success, and it was a pleasure to see you engaging so thoughtfully with scientific ideas.

Thank you to Mrs Lee, Mrs Hanson, Mrs Hibbit, Mr Balota and Mr Jansen for their support in helping the event run smoothly on the day.  We are also extremely grateful to Andrew and Louise from NPL for giving their time to act as guest judges and for engaging with students about their projects. Finally, a sincere thank you to all the parents and carers who took time out of their day to attend and support the event.

It was a fantastic celebration of science at Bishop Wand School, and we look forward to seeing even more brilliant investigations next year.
