Mr Mike Boddington, Deputy Headteacher, made the following comment ‘This year at The Bishop Wand Church of England School 63% of our students achieved 5 A* - C and 94% A* - G in their GCSEs. There were some real successes with students Sarah Harbach, Philip Legg, Hannah Lunnis and Conan Thomas achieving more than 8 A* grades and many doing really well to achieve 5 passes at this level. Some of our Departments performed very well including English, PE and BACS all with large groups of students, and some more specialist areas such as Art, History, Citizenship, Triple Science, Music, Media Studies, Food Technology, Leisure and Tourism and Textiles. These all achieved between 70 and 93% A* - C.

Our staff worked very hard to achieve these successes, however we are constantly seeking ways to improve our students achievements and are looking forward to the coming year.'
