At The Bishop Wand School we have high expectations for our students in all aspects of School life and this includes the uniform they wear to School.

Over the past 2 years we have been working hard with parents to ensure that students wear appropriate uniform and as part of this ongoing process during the past months we have been reviewing the uniform styles. As a result in September 2011 new styles will be introduced and will be compulsory for new Year 7 students.  The new styles include a new girls and boys blazer, girls trousers and a skirt which has been manufactured specifically for our students.

In September 2012 the new style uniform will be compulsory for Years 7 to 10. However, in recognition of the fact that students in Year 11 will only be in School for one more year, it will only be compulsory to purchase the new style girls skirt and trouser but not blazers.

We anticipate that many of our families will wish to purchase the new style uniform for September 2011 and our new uniform supplier, Sanco, will do their very best to meet this demand. However, if families of students in Years 8 to 11 decide not to purchase any of the new style uniform before September 2012 the current uniform regulations will apply.
