Astro Turf Floodlit Pitch

The surface is called Tiger Turf Evolution and is a second generation multipurpose, sand dressed turf.  Having been designed for multipurpose use this turf is suitable for a variety of sports including hockey, recreational football, tennis and netball.  The pitch also has the benefit of floodlighting.

We welcome enquiries from local sports clubs in relation to their use of the pitch and can confirm that it is available to hire Thursday and Friday night from 5.00pm to 7.00pm and from 9.30am to 5.30pm on Saturday.

Sports Complex

The School's purpose built facility was completed in November 2005 and houses 4 individual areas which are available for hire;

  

Sports Hall

The Sports Hall is a large space that can be utilised for a number of different sports. It houses 4 badminton courts, basketball court, netball court, 5-a-side football goals and indoor cricket nets. Hirers of the Sports Hall also have access to the Sports Complex changing and showering facilities.

This area is available to hire:

  • Monday & Friday 5.30pm - 9.30pm
  • Tuesday & Thursday 6.00pm - 9.30pm
  • Wednesday 6.30pm - 9.30pm
  • Saturday 9.00am - 6.00pm

Swimming Pool

The indoor swimming pool is of 20 metre length and benefits from changing and showering facilities which are separate to those in the remainder of the Sports Complex. The pool also benefits from a disabled platform lift and hoist for users with mobility difficulties.

  • Tuesday to Thursday 4.30pm - 9.30pm
  • Wednesday 6.30pm - 9.30pm

Dance Studio

The dance studio is a bright space with a sprung wooden floor bordered suitable for dance related activity. There is also a mirrored wall with dance bars attached.

This area is available to hire:

  • Monday to Friday 5.30pm - 9.30pm
  • Saturday 9.00am - 6.00pm

Drama Studio

The drama studio is a light and airy space with a spring wooden floor.

Bishop's Building Meeting and Conference Centre

This independent building incorporates a spacious meeting/social room and benefits from a kitchen and toilet facilities. The creation of a unique shaped roof provides ideal acoustic and illumination levels conducive to a wide variety of uses:
