Careers & Work Experience

At The Bishop Wand Church of England School we strive to ensure that students are adequately prepared for further and higher education and employment.

Information and guidance is incorporated into the Citizenship Programme that is taught throughout the School to all students. An adviser from Surrey Connexions Service is also available to meet with students to discuss their personal interest and plans and a ‘drop in' session is available during the lunchtime on a weekly basis.

In Year 10 students have the opportunity to undertake two weeks work experience, with further periods often being arranged as part of the Sixth Form programme of study.

Year 10 Work Experience will take place between 1st July 2013 and 11th July 2013
