Learning Support Assistant

Required for 1st November 2017 or sooner

27.08 hours per week, 38.6 weeks (Term Time plus 3 INSET days)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant who can contribute to the Aims Statement of the School by supporting students in your care with patience and sensitivity.

Working as part of our friendly Learning Support Team, you will facilitate the active participation of students in the academic and social activities of the School.  At our School, individual differences are recognised and respected but are never seen as a barrier to achievement.  You should be able to show initiative and be confident with young people and comfortable working with a wide range of educational needs.

In March 2015 our School achieved an “Outstanding” judgement following our SIAMS inspection which is testament to our commitment to our School ethos of Realising God-Given Potential in each and every student.  We were also inspected by Ofsted in February 2017 and achieved “Good” on all measures.  We are not resting on our laurels and are already on our journey to becoming an outstanding school.

All prospective candidates are very welcome to visit our School.
