Teacher of Physical Education (Fixed Term)

Required for 1st September 2017

The Bishop Wand Church of England School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivational Teacher of PE for September 2017.  

The position is available for NQTs and experienced teachers who are passionate about PE.   The successful candidate will also be required to teach a second subject (training and support will be given).  This contract is offered on a Fixed Term basis, covering the period 1st September 2017 to 31st August 2018.

The PE Department is a large team of excellent and supportive teachers who bring energy and enthusiasm to the delivery of their subject.  The right candidate will have the ambition and desire to play a significant role in the further development of the Department.

In return you will enjoy the use of excellent facilities including a swimming pool, modern sports hall, a second generation multipurpose Astroturf pitch, sprung floor mirrored dance studio, fitness suite and tennis court as well as ample grass pitches.  The ability to teach rugby, football, cricket, athletics and swimming is desirable.

Science Teacher - Second in Charge

Required for 1st September 2017

Required for September 2017, an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Science (any discipline) – Second in Charge to join our large Science Department.  We require an ambitious and dynamic teacher seeking to develop their expertise and leadership skills, passionate about Science and the ability of all students to learn and make progress across Key Stages 3 – 5

The Teacher of Science position will be a permanent appointment to our School.  The Second in Science position is offered on a fixed term contract for the period 1st September 2017 – 31st August 2018 to cover a period of maternity leave and will attract a TLR 2B.
