2018 Rugby Tour
The 2018 Bristol Rugby Tour was a huge success. The tour was sponsored by Goddards Removal and Storage EST 1815, which kindly allowed us to buy the students a new boot bag to remember the tour alongside the kit.
The students played two games in Bristol, and although both Year groups lost, the learning curve of a ‘harder’ style of rugby that is played in the west country has educated and bonded these students. The students developed their teamwork, skill level and some new leaders emerged.
We have selected one student from each Year that went above and beyond across the games, the activities, and their conduct throughout the weekend. These students are Louie Heard Year 9 and Charlie Cornish Year 10. A hug thank you to the staff members that gave their weekend up, on talking to them, it was without doubt a privilege to take the students away.
